Ivorian presidency announces cabinet reshuffle

Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (PANA) – The Ivorian presidency on Wednesday announced a cabinet reshuffle in which two portfolios changed hands and new faces emerged.

The reshuffle also sees the return of former ministers and the promotion of some ministers.

The former cabinet was formed in July 2018.

Following is the composition of the new government:

1 – Prime Minister, Head of government, Minister of Budget and government portfolio: Amadou Gon COULIBALY (re-election) 

2 – Senior Minister, Minister of Defence: Hamed BAKAYOKO 

3 – Minister of Foreign affairs: Marcel AMON-TANOH 

4 – Minister of Higher education and scientific research: Abdallah Albert Toikeusse MABRI 

5 – Minister of Education, Technical Education and Vocational training: Kandia KAMISSOKO CAMARA

 6 – Minister of Justice and Human Rights: Sansan KAMBILE

7 – Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization: Sidiki DIAKITE

8 – Minister of Interior and Security: Gl Vagondo Diomandé
