Italian Prime Minister urges Libyan actors to dialogue

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - Stating that the war in Libya would serve the interests of neither France nor Italy, Italian Prime Minister Guiseppe Conte has said "dialogue remains the only important thing among all the Libyan actors."

Mr. Conte was commenting late Monday in Milan on the current events in Libya.

He said he had been informed of the latest developments in Libya and stressed that  the most important thing today is to continue the dialogue with all the Libyan actors.

"This is the piece of advice given by all people we exchanged views with," he said, warning that "the shift to armed conflict means the outbreak of civil war and the exposure of Libyans to significant damage."
