Italian PM calls on Libyan actors to engage in dialogue

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - Calling on Libyan political actors to engage in dialogue, Italian Prime Minister Guiseppe Conte, says "dialogue must continue between all Libyan actors''.

Commenting on Monday evening in Milan on the accelerating events in Libya, Conte stressed that war will not serve the interests of either the French or the Italians.

According to Conte, who said he has been informed of the latest developments in Libya, warned that "the most important thing today is to continue the dialogue with all Libyan actors".

"This is the advice given by all those with whom we have exchanged views," he said, warning that "the slide towards armed conflict means the outbreak of civil war and the exposure of Libyans to significant damage".
