Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The Vice-President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Moussa al-Kouni, is participating in the second African Union (AU) Climate Summit, which began on Monday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian, with the aim of finding solutions to climate challenges and promoting the environment on the African continent.
The summit brings together leaders and heads of government from a number of African countries, as well as representatives from the AU, the United Nations and international organisations, around the theme: “Accelerating global climate solutions: financing for green and climate-resilient African development,” reported the Libyan News Agency (LANA).
The summit will examine ways to address the climate challenges facing the African continent and strengthen cooperation among African countries in this area.
