AU’s Vision 2025 discussed at Pan-African Parliament

Benghazi, Libya (PANA) - Libyan MPs Saleh Guelma and Salem Guanan participated in a joint meeting between the Panafrican Parliament (PAP) Committees on Justice and Human Rights and Cooperation, International Relations and Conflict Resolution in Mirland, South Africa, dedicated to the discussion on the African Union (AU) Vision 2025.

Entitled "Justice for Africans and people of African descent through reparations", the PAP meeting focused on the draft model law on the implementation of human rights resolutions, said a statement issued on Thursday by the House of Representatives in Libya.

There was also a presentation on the human rights situation in Africa, as well as a review of the accession of the African Union to the G20 and the role of the African Parliament in this regard.
