INDIA: COP 14 urged to penalize countries for degradation, destruction of land

New Delhi, India (PANA) – As the Conference of Parties to the the 14th session of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) which has been meeting in New Delhi, India, draws to a close, the Socio Economic Welfare Action for Women and Children from Nepal has demanded for a legally binding strong agreement between countries that will reward best practices and penalize countries for degradation of land
