Vice President of Libyan Presidential Council supports decisions of Tunisian president

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - The Tunisian president received here Thursday the vice-president of the Libyan Presidential Council, Abdellah Al-Lafi, a statement of the Tunisian presidency announced.

The Tunisian head of state affirmed Tunisia's constant desire to further strengthen the fraternal relations that bind it to Libya and its deep determination to make more fruitful the cooperation and coordination for the realization of the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.

He added that Tunisia was also determined to strengthen the complementarity between the two countries to face the attempts that target the security and stability of the two countries as well as their territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The vice-president of the Libyan Presidential Council expressed his country's full support to the decisions of the Tunisian president, saying that the statements of some personalities did not commit the Libyan state.

He reiterated the total solidarity of the Libyan people with the Tunisian people while supporting their efforts for their development and well-being. The stability of Tunisia is paramount for Libya, he said, adding that President Saeid told him that the situation was evolving in a constitutional manner.
