Union of Journalists of the Maghreb, Libyan Parliament sign agreement to site headquarters in Benghazi

Benghazi, Libya (PANA) - The chairman of the media committee of the Libyan House of Representatives, Jalal al-Chouwaihdi, and the secretary general of the Union of Journalists of the Maghreb (UJM), Nasr al-Mahdawi, on Monday signed an agreement for the establishment of the headquarters of the Union in Benghazi.

This agreement was signed during a meeting at the headquarters of the Libya's eastern-based House of Representatives in Benghazi, said a statement issued by the official spokesman of the Parliament, Abdallah Blihak, on his official Facebook page.

Member states of the Union of Journalists of the Maghreb, who met last April at the invitation of the Libya's eastern-based government, decided to choose Benghazi as their headquarters.
