Tunisia attends UK-Africa Summit in London

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - A Tunisian delegation led by Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Sabri Bachtobji is attending the first UK-Africa Investment Summit in London on Monday, said an official Tunisian statement.


The summit, attended by 21 African countries, aims to identify ways to promote partnership between Africa and the United Kingdom.

 

According to the statement released on Sunday, the summit also aims to raise awareness of the great economic and investment potentials in Africa in several fields including youth employment, cooperation in the fields of health, agriculture, the environment and renewable energies.


Several representatives of the Tunisian public and private sectors are taking part in this summit to publicize investment opportunities in Tunisia and to examine partnerships with British economic actors.
