Tunisia: Partnership agreement to improve services offered to refugees

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA)  -  The Tunisian ministry of Women, Family, Children and the Elderly and the Tunisian Council for refugees Monday signed a partnership agreement on the resolution of the problems of refugees, particularly those related to services offered them and asylum seekers. 

According to the terms of the deal, a joint committee between the ministry and the council will be established to determine the practical and operational terms, measures to take, as well as an executive programme of that collaboration to help refugees living in Tunisia.  

The agreement aims to improve the situation of refugees thanks to the sensitization of the actors in the domain on the humanitarian values linked to the help for refugees and asylum seekers and their right for honorable life in Tunis.

The two parties also agreed to cooperate to offer the needed social services to the refugees and asylum seekers and to intensify the participation of the executives of the ministry in programmes related to the problems of refugees.
