TunisAir postpones resumption of Libya flights until 15 May

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - The Tunisian national carrier, TunisAir, announced on Monday that it has postponed to May 15 the resumption of services to Tripoli and Benghazi in Libya.

This is due to the deterioration of the coronavirus situation and drop in passengers during the month of Ramadan.

TunisAir will operate five weekly flights to Libya -- three to Tripoli and two to Benghazi in the east.

The company plans to increase, in the coming months, the frequency to its pre-crisis level, namely one daily flight.
