TunisAir acquires new Airbus A320neo aircraft

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - The Tunisian airline, TunisAir, received on Saturday, as part of its programme of new acquisitions, a fourth Airbus A320neo to strengthen its fleet after overcoming constraints related to the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

The company had previously acquired three aircraft of the same type in December 2021, February and October 2022 respectively and is expecting to receive another in 2023.

The Airbus A320neo has a new fully-equipped cabin to offer its passengers the greatest comfort, thanks to its large space.

The new aircraft also offers wireless internet service (Wi-Fi) and the latest in-flight entertainment systems.

The cabin of the new aircraft, which is considered one of the best used by airlines in the Mediterranean, can accommodate 12 passengers in business class and 138 passengers in economy class.

TunisAir's fleet is currently equipped with 29 aircraft, including 22 Airbuses and 7 Boeings.
