Total U-20 AFCON- Morocco defeat Gambia 1-0

Banjul, Gambia(PANA) - Morocco's young Atlas Lions defeated Gambia's Baby Scorpions 1-0 in their Total U-20 AFCON Group C match played at the Stade de Nouadhibou on Tuesday.

El Mehdi El Moubarik scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute to give Morocco the three points.

Morocco are second in the group after Day one matches following Ghana's 4-0 drubbing of Tanzania.

Gambia are third while Tanzania lie fourth.
