The President of Burkina Faso's Parliament attends the Saudi-African summit

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - The President of Burkina Faso's Transitional Legislative Assembly, Ousman Bougouma, arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Thursday to represent the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, at the Saudi-African summit.

He was welcomed by Olivia Rouamba, Burkina Faso's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad, and other members of the government, according to a statement from Burkina Faso's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition to the Saudi-African summit, Burkina Faso will be taking part in an extraordinary summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation on the crisis between Israel and Palestine.

On the sidelines of the various events, the Burkina Faso delegation will have audiences with the Saudi authorities and meet with the Burkina Faso community living in Riyadh.
