Terrorist shot dead in Côte d'Ivoire army position attack

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - A terrorist was shot dead and two Ivorian soldiers wounded on Tuesday in an attack on an army position in the locality of Gôgô on the Tehini-Doropo road in the north-east of the country, a security source said.

The attack occurred on Monday evening, according to the same source.

The north of Côte d'Ivoire, which borders Burkina Faso, has been the scene of spontaneous terrorist attacks since March.

The armies of the two countries often carry out joint military operations there.
