Brazzaville, Congo (PANA) - South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived on Wednesday in Oyo, some 400 km north of Brazzaville, to participate in a Summit of the African Union High Level Committee (AU) on Libya, public radio announced on Thursday.

The South African Head of State, who is the current Chairperson of the African Union, was welcomed upon his arrival at Ollombo airport by his Congolese counterpart, Denis Sassou Nguesso, Chairman of the Committee.

AU Commission chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat and Algerian Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad, whose country aims to host dialogue between Libyan brothers, have also arrived in Oyo.

Thursday's meeting is to lay the groundwork for the future intra-Libyan dialogue.

Several delegations have also arrived, including those of the Libyan parties.
