Soro attacks Côte d'Ivoire's Ouattara regime from Italy

Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (PANA) - While in Italy where he organized his "crush" in Milan this weekend, Guillaume Soro, a declared candidate in the 2020 presidential election, was not at all sympathetic to Abidjan's power and accused it of preparing the fraud at the presidential deadline.

He made it clear that Côte d'Ivoire has an "Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) under orders".

"Among all those who are in the IEC, not a single one can look Ouattara in the eye. It is an IEC at the helm. They already have the name of the President even before the election is held," he said.

Indexing the Rally of Houphouétists for Democracy and Peace (Rhdp), Alassane Ouattara's party, of the claimed 3,700,000 members, Soro questions this figure: "In France, they are 70 million inhabitants. How many members does Macron's party have? It has 418,000 members. Rhdp, Côte d'Ivoire 22 million inhabitants, 3,700,000 members!  Criminals always tell their crimes," he said.

Soro, who claims that President Alassane Ouattara still enjoys a good image with the French political class, scratches without quoting them close collaborators of the Ivorian president and talks about the decline of democracy: "It is inconceivable that 30 years after the advent of multipartyism in the country, people will be forced to belong to a political party".

Soro also said he denounced state terror. Addressing President Ouattara, the former President of the National Assembly, said: "When you are President, it is not to kill your opponents. It is not to kill people.
