Rwanda's Health minister resigns

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) - Rwanda's Health minister, Dr Diane Gashumba, resigned late Friday following a series of habitual gross errors and repeated leadership failures in the course of her duties, an official statement said on Saturday

Dr Gashumba has been Minister of Health in Rwanda since October 2016.

Previously, she served as Minister of Gender and Family Promotion from March 2016.

Gashumba holds an MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree from the University of Rwanda and a Master of Medicine specialising in paediatrics.
