Royal Air Maroc to connect Morocco to China from next January

Casablanca, Morocco (PANA) - Moroccan national carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), will connect Casablanca's Mohammed V airport with Beijing-Daxing International Airport from 16 January, a statement issued on Thursday said.

Thanks to this new service, the Moroccan national airline will connect Morocco to China for the first time in less than 13 hours by direct flights operated by B787-9 Dreamliner, with a capacity of 302 seats, 26 of which are in business, the statement added.

Three flights a week will be offered, the airline said, adding that flights from Casablanca will be scheduled every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, while flights from Beijing will be scheduled every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

"Royal Air Maroc is proud to offer its passengers direct flights between Morocco and China... It will enable us to meet a strong need, expressed by the economic operators of both countries, and will contribute to further strengthening the trade and economic relations between Morocco and China," said Royal Air Maroc CEO Abdelhamid Addou.
