Rabat reaffirms support for Libya's stability

Rabat, Morocco (PANA) - The Moroccan Prime Minister, Saâdeddine El Otmani, on Monday reaffirmed Morocco's continued support for stability and development in Libya.

In a speech made on his behalf by his Minister of Employment and Professional Integration, El Otmani recalled, at the opening of the Libyan Economic Forum and Investment in Rabat, a speech in which the King of Morocco, Mohamed VI, reaffirmed the constant position of Morocco on the importance of creating solid and lasting relations between the Maghreb countries.

The establishment of strong and peaceful relations between the Maghreb countries is not only a requirement of the peoples of the region, but also that of all the European, African and Arab partners of the Maghreb given the challenges facing the region, he said.

For him, Morocco has always adopted peaceful positions aimed at the creation of a Maghreb region which is strong politically and economically and which works for the well-being of the peoples of the region, adding that by hosting this Forum, the Kingdom of Morocco reaffirms once again its commitment to the interest of a Maghreb region for solid and stable, politically and economically prosperous.

The first Libyan International Economic Forum opened Monday in Rabat, attended by 400 participants representing the public and private sectors of 12 countries and different economic areas in Libya.
