President Kiir of South Sudan receives Sudanese PM

Khartoum, Sudan (PANA) - South Sudanese President, Salva  Kiir Mayardit, on Tuesday received the visiting Sudanese Prime Minister, Abdullah Hamdouk, in Juba, after which both leaders discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

They also looked at issues of mutual interest and the formation of a joint committee to strengthen the relations between Sudan and South Sudan.

The two officials looked at the negotiations between Khartoum and Sudanese rebels on how to make the current round of talks, supervised by South Sudan, a success.

Hamdouk flew to Juba to attend the opening session of the peace talks between his government delegation and the rebel Sudan people’s liberation movement/army, led by Abdul Aziz Hilo.
