OIC welcomes agreement on constitutional declaration in Sudan

Jeddah Saudi Arabia (PANA) - The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Youcef Ben Ahmed El-Otheimen, has hailed the agreement between the forces for freedom and change and the Transitional Military Council (TMC) in Sudan on the constitutional declaration that prepares the formation of a transitional government to lead the country.

The agreement is an important step in the process of political operation and for fulfilling the requirements of the transition period, the official OIC website said on Sunday.

El-Otheimen reiterated the support of the OIC for Sudan at this critical time for realizing the Sudanese people's aspirations for security, stability, peace and development.
