Niger officially launches national campaign for free vaccination of livestock

Niamey, Niger (PANA)  -  Nigerien minister in charge of Livestock, Mohamed Boucha Monday launched the national campaign of free vaccination of livestock 2019-2020 edition in the rural commune of Miriah, Zinder region, 900 km east of Niamey, Boucha said that breeding, after the extractive industries, was the second lever of the national economy, adding that the sector contributes 15 percent to the household budget and 25 percent to the satisfaction of the food needs of Nigerien populations, thereby contributing to the fight against poverty
