Mauritius calls for peaceful resolution of Russia-Ukraine conflict

Port-Louis, Mauritius (PANA) – Mauritius has called for a peaceful resolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine given its adverse impact on global stability, the government said in a communiqué released on Friday.

It added that Mauritius would join calls for the resumption of dialogue between the concerned parties, who are at war following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

The communique said the Mauritius Embassy in Moscow has been requested to monitor the situation of Mauritian nationals, particularly students, in Ukraine.
