Malian president IBK in Luanda for first edition of Peace biannual meeting

Bamako, Mali (PANA) – Malian Presiden Ibrahim Boubacar Keita is in Luanda since Tuesday to take part in the first edition of the Peace biannual meeting in the Angola capital from 18-22 September, the Malian presidency said on Wednesday.

 

President Keita, in his capacity as African Union coordinator for Arts, Culture and Heritage, was invited by Angolan President Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço to take part in the cultural event.

 

Based on sources and resources for a culture of peace, the pan-African forum aims to increase sensitization campaigns and strengthen the strong mobilization around the continental plan of the African Union.

 

The Luanda meeting focuses on several points as a Forum of partners, a Forum of ideas, a Forum of youths, a Forum of women and a Festival of cultures.
