Mali: FIFA President Gianni Infantino meets with Transitional President

Bamako, Mali (PANA) - The president of the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, was received on Thursday in Bamako by the president of the Transition in Mali, Bah N'Daw, shortly after his arrival in the Malian capital.

The FIFA Chief arrived at the Koulouba Palace in company of the Malian Minister of Youth and Sports, Mossa Ag Attaher, the director of the FIFA member associations division, Véron Mosengo-Omba, and the president of the Malian Federation of football (FEMAFOOT), Mamoutou Touré "Bavieux".

When he left the meeting, Infantino said he had raised several subjects with President N'Daw, without going into details.

In the afternoon, the FIFA president, whose first visit to Mali is to lay the foundation stone of the National Technical Football Center which will be built on an area of ​​20 hectares in Kalaban-Coura, district of commune VI of the district of Bamako.

This center will include, among other things, a four-star hotel, accommodation for age category selections, three football pitches, one of which has stands, changing rooms for referees and players, offices for commissioners, an administrative block, a block for women's football, two housing on six levels for executives, a gymnasium, two swimming pools, one of which is covered.

The work will be carried out by Souma et associés SARL, an architectural firm and town planners, will be completed within 18 months, sources said.
