Libyan media exhibition 'Tifa Expo 2022' opens

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdelhamid al-Dbaiba, on Tuesday inaugurated the Libyan media exhibition, "Tifa Expo 2022", being held at the Tripoli International Fair, as part of the "Tripoli Media Days."

Mr. al-Dabaiba visited pavilions, which include that of government communication, encompassing the "Hakomitna" and "Return of Life" platforms, and the media development pavilion, which includes the public TV channel "Libya Al-Wataniya", the Tripoli Media City, the Media Support and Development Fund and the Media Content Monitoring Authority, the Audio Space Service, as well as many public and private media.

He listened to explanations and audiovisual projections presenting their contents and activities.

"Tifa Expo 2022" is part of the closing activities of the Tripoli Arab Media Capital 2022 event, which includes the holding of the Tripoli International Forum for Government Communication, the Arab Content Creators Forum, the announcement of the "Al-Saraya Al-Hamra" International Prize for Peace Journalism and the commemoration ceremony of the 70th anniversary of Libya's independence.

The inauguration was attended by the Ministers of State for Cabinet Affairs and Prime Minister, Adel Jumaa, Communication and Political Affairs, Walid al-Lafi, and Economy and Trade, Mohamed al-Haweij, as well as a number of officials and people interested in the field of media from Libya and various Arab countries.
