Libyan PM World Government Summit in UAE

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdulhamid Al Dbaiba, is taking part in the World Government Summit (WGS) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which opens this Monday and runs until 14 February.

On Monday, Mr Al Dbaiba met Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Rwandan President Paul Kagame, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, World Health Organisation (WHO) Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus, and Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Mohamed Ali Tamim, according to a statement issued on Monday by the government's Hakomitna platform.

The 11th World Government Summit (WGS) is being held this year under the theme, "Shaping tomorrow's governments."

This year's summit will anticipate future opportunities and challenges, addressing the world's most pressing issues, said the World Government Summit Organisation, quoted by the UAE News Agency (WAM).

According to the organisers, the 11th edition of the summit will be attended by more than 25 heads of state and government, 120 government delegations, more than 85 international and regional organisations and institutions, as well as opinion leaders, experts and more than 4,000 participants.
