Libyan PM Al-Sarraj begins 24-hour visit to Algeria

Algiers, Algeria (PANA) - The Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) , Fayez Al-Sarraj, is paying a 24-hour visit to Algeria on Monday, heading a high-level delegation, according to a statement from the Algerian Presidency.

The meeting between Mr Al-Sarraj and the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is part of the "permanent and continuous consultations with the Libyan brothers in order to exchange views on the situation in Libya and to seek solutions likely to overcome the difficult moments" that the country is going through, it said. -0- PANA AT/IN/JSG/MTA/MA 6Jan2020
