Libya strongly condemns deadly attack in Mogadishu, Somalia

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity Monday condemned in the strongest terms the attack in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which resulted in the deaths of three members of the United Arab Emirates armed forces and an officer of the Bahrain Defence Force, while on a training mission for the Somali armed forces.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, calling for intensified efforts to support Somalia, and to continue to provide it with all types of support, while preserving its unity and the integrity of its territory.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its support for Somalia in the fight against terrorism, expressing its solidarity and compassion for the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
