Libya elected Vice President for Africa at 64th session of IAEA

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - Countries attending the 64th session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conference on Monday elected Libya as Vice President for the Africa.

This election took place during the morning session in the Austrian capital, Vienna, according to a statement issued by the Foreign ministry of the Government of National Accord on its website.

It said the session also elected Morocco to the presidency of the conference.

The IAEA, along with the General Conference, will organise a scientific forum on several topics related to nuclear technology and science.
