Guinea to set up national agency for digitalization

Conakry, Guinea (PANA) - Guinea on Thursday announced the establishment of a National Agency for the Digitisation of the State (ANDE), following the publication of a decree by the President of the Transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya.

The decree states that ANDE is a public administrative institution, with legal personality, financial autonomy and management.

Its mission is to implement the policy of strategies, programmes and projects of the Guinean government in terms of digitalization of the State. This includes the central administration, the decentralized administration, and the local communities.

It also concerns institutions and other public bodies, public establishments, and public companies.
