Flights resume at Tripoli's Maitigua airport after brief suspension

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - The management of Maitigua International Airport in Tripoli on Saturday announced the resumption flights to and from the airport after a suspension that lasted a few hours following the fall of a missile on the facility.

Airlines will operate their flights on schedule, airport management said in a post on its website.

Earlier, Maitigua Airport announced the suspension of air traffic due to the fall of a shell that coincided with the arrival of Al-Buraq Airlines flight from Istanbul and Libyan Airlines plane from Medina with 265 pilgrims on board.
