EgyptAir to operate three weekly flights to Douala from 21 July

Cairo, Egypt (PANA) - The Egyptian national carrier, EgyptAir, has announced the launch of three weekly flights to Douala, Cameroon, from 21 July as part of plans to strengthen its network in Africa.

Egyptair says it has increased its flights to Kigali, Rwanda, and Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in recent months.

The chairman of EgyptAir holding company, Ahmed Adel, said in a statement on Thursday that the airline was executing its plan to strengthen its presence in Africa.

It has therefore decided to put into service flights to and from Douala in compliance with networks in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East, to offer a variety of choices to travellers to and from Cameroon's economic capital.

Flights are scheduled weekly on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with stops in N'Diamena, Chad, he said.
