ECOWAS hydrocarbons and environment ministers meet in Ouagadougou on Wednesday

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - The Burkinabe capital, Ouagadougou, is hosting, from Wednesday to Friday, a joint meeting of ministers of hydrocarbons and environment of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), it was officially announced here on Tuesday.

The meeting will be attended by experts and ministers for hydrocarbons and the environment from the 15 member countries of the Community.

They will examine and approve the conclusions of two important documents for the development of an environmentally friendly petroleum sector within ECOWAS.
