ECOWAS delegation arrives in Ouagadougou

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - A delegation of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) led by the Ghanaian minister of foreign affairs and Regional integration, Mrs Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, arrived in Ouagadougou on Thursday, official sources said.

The delegation, which arrived by waves, was received at the airport by Ragnaghnèwendé Olivia Rouamba, minister of foreign affairs, regional cooperation and Burkinabe living abroad, and the deputy minister in charge of Regional cooperation, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, the ministry of foreign affairs said in a statement.

The presence in Ouagadougou of the delegation of the community organization is within the framework of the working visit with the Burkinabe transitional authorities, according to the same sources.
