Cote d'Ivoire to host 14th eLearning Africa Conference

Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (PANA)   -   The 14th Pan-African Conference on Technologies Applied to Learning, Training and Skills Development, eLearning Africa, will be held here from 23-25 October, a communiqué issued and reaching PANA here said.

The 2019 edition, which is on the theme "The Keys to the Future: Learning Capacity and Employability", will look at ways for young Africans to learn, adapt and grow in the rapidly changing, technology-driven environment of the future.

According to the statement, particular emphasis will be placed on how to acquire modern skills that employers will demand and on the contribution of communication technologies.

The conference will bring together more than 1,400 participants from more than 70 countries as well as international experts in education and technology, professionals, entrepreneurs and investors who are mobilizing for the future of education in Africa.

The formal opening of the event will be preceded by a roundtable of African ministers in charge of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and Education to discuss key issues related to education and training, skills and technologies.

It is being organized by Integrated Communications, Worldwide Events (ICWE), an international event and media company, and hosted by the Ivorian government.
