Côte d'Ivoire: Trading at the West African bourse drops

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (PANA) – The reference indexes at the West African regional bourse (BRVM) closed Tuesday down for the BRVM 10 index and up for the Composite index.

The BRVM 10 index dropped from 259.10 to 258.74 points, a drop by 0.14%, as the BRVM Composite index gained 0.04%, rising to 251.84 points as against 251.75 previously.

The overall value of transactions is set 1.15 billion CFAF as against 343.06 million CFAF on Monday.

Market capitalization is set at 6,166.91 billion CFAF, while that of the bond market is set at 1,137.71 billion CFAF.

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI Togo) remains the most active in volume with 417,884 traded shares, as the most active in value is Bank of Africa (Niger) with 476.24 million CFAF of transactions.
