Congolese President Sassou-Nguesso leaves for ECCAS Summit in Libreville

Brazzaville, Congo (PANA) - The Congolese Head of State, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, left Brazzaville on Friday for Libreville, Gabon, for the 18th session of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), during which he will take charge of the sub-regional organization, replacing his Gabonese counterpart, Ali Bongo Ondimba.

At the head of ECCAS, his mission will be to pursue the project of reforming the organization to make it more dynamic.
