Club Sfaxien leads in Tunisian football league table

Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) - With five wins and a draw over six rounds of matches, CS Sfaxien have taken the lead in the Tunisian football elite league table.

The record, including a 1-0 away win at US Monastir, vaulted the club to 16 points after Day 6 matches across the country.

Trained by Dutch Ruud Krol, the top club from the southern Tunisian capital, Sfax, are 2 points ahead of the second-placed Club Athlétic de Bizerte (CAB).

Two other clubs in the race for top spot are Espérance de Tunis and Etoile du Sahel, both yet to play two outstanding matches because of their engagements in the Confederation of African football (CAF) champions league and the Union of Arab football associations (UAFA) schedules..

Incidentally, the Day 6 matches featured all away teams winning.
