Chevron donates US$ 200,000 to equip schools in Angolan province

Cabinda, Angola (PANA) - About US$ 200,000 was handed over by the US oil giant, Chevron, and associates Bloco-0, to São Carlos Luanga Parish Catholic Church in Buco-Zau district in the northern Cabinda province, Angola, to equip two schools (primary and secondary) in the locality.

This was disclosed Thursday by the head of public relations department for policy and
governmental affairs at Chevron in Cabinda, Suzana Abreu.

According to Abreu, the gesture is aimed at improving the educational conditions of the schools.

He said the initiative was part of a programme by Chevron and its associates to support the communities in their action plan under the slogan: “We are together with the community".
