CAN U-17: Final Group A matches on Saturday

Niamey, Niger (PANA) - Hosts Niger, already eliminated, take on Guinea in Niamey on Saturday in a final Group A match at the ongoing 2015 CAF Under-17 Championship.

With two losses (against Nigeria and Zambia), Niger has not recorded any points and will exit the tournament even if it beats Guinea.

The Guineans (1-0 winners against Zambia before the 1-1 draw with Nigeria) are second on the table with four points, leaving the first slot to Nigeria (2-0 winners against Niger and 1-1 against Guinea), also with four points but with a superior goal difference.

The other Group A match on Saturday will be between Nigeria and Zambia.

Qualification for the semi-final is wide open in this Group with Nigeria, Guinea and Zambia capable of going through.

It will be a must win for Zambia against Nigeria to go through while the Golden Eaglets need just a draw to qualify.

Both matches will be played simultaneously to avoid a "sell out" between teams.

Here is the table after the first two matches:

Played Won Drawn Lost Goals for Against Difference Points
1. Nigeria 2 1 1 0 3 1 2 4

2. Guinea 2 1 1 0 2 1 1 4

3. Zambia 2 1 0 1 2 2 0 3

4. Niger 2 0 0 2 1 4 -3 0
