Burkinabe president to attend Russia-Africa Summit in Sochi

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - Burkina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré left Ouagadougou on Tuesday to take part in the first Russia-Africa Summit holding 23-24 October in Sochi, Russia, and the Economic Forum planned on the sidelines of the same meeting, an official source said.

As current Chair of the G5 Sahel, Mr Kaboré will also participate in a working session with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the presence of African heads of state.

He will also have discussions with Russian authorities and development partners as well as other delegations.
