Batswana urged to respect electoral laws

Gaborone, Botswana (PANA) - The Botswana President, Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi, has encouraged Batswana (citizens of Botswana) to respect the election rules and regulations.

Addressing a national consultative meeting in Ramotswa, 36.6 kilometers from Gaborone, on Thursday, President Masisi said the tranquility and peace of Botswana should be maintained by respecting rules on the Election Day.

He cautioned attendants of the meeting against putting on party colors on the day of the national Election Day or playing party songs on the day of the elections.
