Bad weather disrupts flights at Kigali International Airport

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) - Bad weather at Kigali International Airport has caused several flight cancellations or delays on Thursday morning, an official statement issued in Kigali by Rwanda Air said.

Among the delayed flights are Rwanda airline (RwandAir) flight WB305 from Dubai that has been diverted to Entebbe, Uganda, the statement said.

"As a result we may face flight schedule disruption. We sincerely apologise for all inconveniences this may cause," the airline said in a statement.

Rwanda meteorological authorities on Tuesday warned of rainstorms that might further affect flights at the airport for three days.
