Arab Parliament welcomes Agreement on Constitutional Declaration in Sudan

Cairo, Egypt (PANA) - President of the Arab Parliament Mishal al-Sulami has hailed the agreement between the Alliance for Freedom and Change and the Sudan Transitional Military Council (TMC) on the Constitutional Declaration, ushering in a new period for the transitional government.

"This agreement is an important step towards realizing the aspirations of the Sudanese people, in terms of democracy, security, stability, peace, freedom and well-being," said the Speaker of the Arab Parliament.

He praised the efforts of all actors to reach this important Constitutional Declaration, despite the real difficulties facing the transition process in Sudan, paying tribute to the Transitional Military Council and the Forces for Freedom and Change.
