Angolan diamond companies to explore in Zimbabwe

Luanda, Angola (PANA) - Angolan companies will soon start to explore diamonds in Zimbabwe if the negotiations between the two countries fall through, PANA reported Thursday.

This was disclosed Wednesday in Luanda by the head of the Zimbabwean diamond delegation, Ozias Hove, at the end of a meeting with the board of directors of the Angolan Development Bank (BDA).

Hove, however, expressed optimism that the deal could be reached on account of the good friendship ties existing between Angola and Zimbabwe.

The Zimbabwean delegation marked the end of its visit to Angola by touring the Diamond Lapidating Factory in Talatona locality in southern Luanda on Thursday.
