Angola ends Gambia World Cup dream

Banjul, Gambia (PANA) - Angola has ended Gambia's dream of reaching the group stage of the World Cup qualifying for the first time after defeating  Scorpions in Banjul last Friday 1-0 and 2-1 in Luanda on Tuesday.

Angolan Geraldo opened scoring after 41 minutes to increase the host lead by two goals and Fabioa Aberu scored in the 68th minute to make it 3, while Gambia's Assan Ceesay scored a consolation goal in the 66th minute for the visitors.
