Angola, Australia to strengthen cooperation

Luanda, Angola (PANA) - The special envoy of the Prime Minister of Australia, Neil Mules, on Monday expressed confidence in the growth of cooperation between Angola and his country in all sectors, with emphasis on political and commercial sectors.

"I am confident that in the coming months, we will see a very significant growth in relations
between our two countries," Mules said at the end of an audience with the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Rebelo Chicoty.

The envoy said he was appointed by Prime Minister Julia Gillard in the context of Australia's strategy to further diversify and strengthen relations with all African countries, especially the Portuguese-speaking nations like Angola.
