Air Mauritius to resume commercial flights on 1 September

Port-Louis, Mauritius (PANA) - Mauritian flag carrier, Air Mauritius, plans to resume its flights, which were suspended on 29 March due to the coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions imposed around the world, on 1 September.

In a statement Air Mauritius said flights to repatriate citizens stranded abroad and commercial cargo flights are, however, being maintained.

"Commercial flights will resume, depending on the opening of the borders of the countries served by Air Mauritius," the Mauritian airline said.
